It was an okay read. I got mixed up with all the vampire lingo and the mass descrpitions of the the whole Dhampirs vs Morgoi and Strigoi thing but I figured it out as I went through the book. The writing was nothing special but the book itself definelty lived up to the trailer. I'm not actually sure if I'll ever finish or read the second book but the ending was quite interesting.I really like Rose as a character she is rather mysterious. Overall a good read and recommend it to others who like vampires. ***ACTUAL RATING*** 3.5 STARS
